Question - About Hardrives

If the harddrive was unlocked you will have no issue putting in new xbox.

If the harddrive is locked you can if you made backup of eeprom restore eeprom in new xbox and then install your old drive.

If xcontol writes chip, it is possiblity chip is still good.

Only way is to try in new box.

By the way whats wrong with old box, does it boot to MS screen? Or with xchip installed can you see evox logo at start up if so we can rescue drive.

If you had stock harddrive, woudl be locked by default I beleive.

Put it this way, easiest solution right now is install xchip in xbox and install slayesr on the original drive or upgarded harddrive.

Is there any reason why you wanted to use old harddrive.? ( I am not 100% certain if installing slayers/evox on harddrive unlocks the drive ) if the deive is unlocked will work on any xbxo with modchip, if its locked will only work on origination xbox.
