I want to publically thank
PaulY^ for this PM found @ EB2K Forums. You are a life saver dude. Thank you very much and in no way am I trying to steal your thunder for this kick ass solution on flashing a fried EEPROM. All other solutions got me pretty close but this one is the bomb 4sho!
The answer to your problem may lie in the new evox x-chip bios v 1.3, it comes with a editing tool that allows you to easily inject a working eeprom into the bios and save.
there are a few ways to fix your problem.
1. you said in an earlier thread that you had another xbox that was working or that a freind had a xbox that was still working so i assumed you checked the forum often and read the master install posted earlier this mth and didnt continue to explain as a solution is explained in there.
Anyways ill go ahead and explain now...
Get a copy of evox_xchip V1.3 from #xbins
Do a copy of your freinds eeprom onto his xbox hard drive using the slayers auto install disk there is a option to save eeprom onto c:\backup .
when the copy is on his harddrive ftp to his xbox and look in c:\backup and download the eeprom file to your puter,
open the edit tool exe that comes with evox_xchipv1.3 and file load bios (the evox_xchip1.3 bios you just downloaded from #xbins) then choose eeprom and inject eeprom , browse to where you saved the copy of the eeprom you saved from your freinds xbox and choose it to inject.
Save the file in file save as e.g full.bin
then connect to your x-chip using the x_control software and load this saved bios raw, and write changes, when complete boot the xbox while holding down the black button on the usb adaptor thats connected to the xchip for about 20 seconds this will reflash the new eeprom onto your xbox , also when you are holding down the black button tap on the start button on your hand controller so you will enter setup this will put you into thew setup screen.
2. If you cant get a working eeprom from a freind you can email me and i may be able to get you a eeprom you can use to get you up and running on your ntsc box.
