X-control Hosing Xchip?

IIRC, the light on the chip comes on briefly, but turns off during the reflash.

Yes, when I flash my chips the light is usually off.  See if XCONTROL recognizes the chip when you have it plugged in.

Why are you flashing your chip while your Xbox is on in the first place? Your Xbox doesn't need to be powered to Flash the chip (mine wasn't and it works).
