When you boot up your Xbox, during the flubber scene, or whatever you call it, do you see green circle and pink triangle in the top corners of your TV? And instead of displaying MS at the bottom, what should pop up is "X-chip inside".
If you see all those, then that means your chip is working and you just have to press start when you boot up the Xbox to enter the BIOS settings. From there, you can change the boot order of your dashes.
