Flashing Bios With Marix Programmer

I think that my x chip bios is screwed and i was wondering if it is possible to flash an xchip with the old matrix programmer??
can i damage the chip by trying this?

No you cannot and will not work the Matrix programmer. The X-Chip is shipped with a built in USB programmer in the chip and also is shipped with a blue linker wire and programer interface.

The X-chip uses the USB port to program itself.
