Your Xbox is fragging -- This is caused by a bad LPC connection.

so ur saying my solder connections was bad?  aieee  

do i have to redo it?

Which 5V source did you use?  from lpc port pin #6 or from eb2k's quick install guide.  If from lpc port on 1.6 may explain your problem

I am just assuming, but once you insert the DVD drive thats when it stops working??

Grab a piece of paper and fold it a few times then tape on top of the Xchip, this should help push and hold the xchip in place.

And verify you are using the 5V as in quick install and not the pin #6 on lpc port on 1.6 boxes.
