You have to set the correct LBA mode in the X-Chip setup.

This is written in the Evox nfo file, and there is also a section in the PDF manual with details on getting it right.

Change to F Drive Only for LBA48 Mode

use the evox bios. i had the same problem

Evox 1.1 has all the proper settinsg for original, extended and greater then 137 GB drives.  Only issue is you must select proper one for your installation, then works great.  Instructions are in the manual that comes with the bios, look under the LBA48 settings.
