You should download the flashing software (X-Control) for the X-Chip on the Easybuy web site.

Download the Evox X-Chip BIOS ver. 1.1, it has a manual that will show you exactly how to to it.

Thanks alot I got the X-Control and loaded it up read the manual and I think I know what to do.

1 More question tho...

I have Xbox ver 1.6 so I need a new bios right? What Bios do I need?

Also To connect the usb adapter to PC I just buy a USB wire and plug it into my comp rite? Will any USB Wire work?

A normal USB will work, if you have a printer or any other device that is usb hanging around the house better to use then buy a $10 cable for one time programming.

Once you connect the USB cable to the Xchip programmer a new device detection will happen, make sure you read the XControl manual on locations of drivers to point to and you should be set on your way to a modded xbox in no time.

I also suggest you look into getting Slayers 2.5 or 2.6 Autoinstallers, this will setup your harddrive and load alot of usefull utilities to your xbox, asfter it is modded of course.

Anyways where can I get the evox 1.1 from I've been searching Google for a while and all I find is forum places where people are talking about it.

Also where can I get slayers 2.5/ 2.6 and what does it actually do?

#xbins, emule, google...

Slayers will install Evox dashboard, and also other applications if you chose so.

I went to xbins.org but I cant download the file

all I can do is look at the home pages webpage (Which they dont have file also) and look at a .nfo

Also The slayers 2.6 Auto installer is 100meb+ How can I install that if my Xchip only holds 4mbs?

Slayer has nothing to do with your modchip, but a modchip is required in order to use it.

You need a BIOS for your modchip, that would be Evox X-Chip BIOS 1.1

Slayer will place a dashboard (OS Like replacement) on your XBOX harddisk.

So to install the slayer dashboard to my system I burn it to a CD then put it in my xbox to install it? Is that correct?

Yes that is correct, make sure you use a CD/DVD brand that your XBOX DVD drive will actually read (many have problems with that)

Search the forums, and you should be able to figure out what what type of media is good for your DVD drive.

We can't give you links to where you can download it, we can only point you in the right direction or give hints. You have to do some searching yourself.

If you used IRC and went to a server called efnet and joined a channel called #xbins you would be very very close!
