All of the sudden when I try and connect my Xchip to the computer it said it was damaged or windows cannot regognize it, even though the driver was installed and it worked befor?!?! Whats wrong with this? Seriously i need to connect it and flash it with a 1.6 compatible bios.

Windows XP home, and ive tried going under drivers or whatever and deleting it, but it just does the same thing. Unless im doing it wrong. Could you type a list like this ---------- C:/Programs/download/bla bla bla except where to go to delete the driver? Oh yeah and once when I had it connect to my other comp (a dell ) I was able to do this easy, but then this happened to it to. So i kept trying to connect it to the dell. Then once it lite up orange like normal then got really hot all of the sudden. It was the square black chip on it. So i unplugged it. Is there anything wrong?!?

I installed it in a 1.6 and rebuilt the lpc, then i connect the top D0 then I connected the power. And the light never worked or turned on. Whats up with that. Isnt it supposed to lite up when the xbox isnt on or something?

Heat from chips is normal on modchips, sometiems hotter then other times.

When you connect Xchip in device manager does it have exclamation mark beside it?

If you got a power issue on your USB port can cause a surge and fry what ever connected, happened to a printer of mine, tg printers only $50 and usb porst 20 so not an expensive fix.
