So here is one of the bugs, it won't play backed up games.I have a 1.0 and installed evox_3935 last night. The box works fine but does not reconize the backed up games.Someone told me since everything works fine that it is probably the X-Chip and to send it back and get a replacement.Thats the last thing I want to do since I ordered it in Febuary. Can anyone tell me what I shoud do uhh.gif

I noticed that with the X-Chip you really have to make sure it is sitting solidly on the pins, or the Xbox might start acting funny.  Other than that you want to check the media you are using for backed up games.  While basically any DVD media should theoretically work, and CDRW's are supposed to work as well I guess, some media will not work.  So, basically just check and make sure your chip is in there good and solid.

Give us some more info, like what media are you using?  What DVD drive is in your xbox, what burner are you using to make your backups.....etc.....This way, it can help rule out some issues and then we can work from there.

Main question, if evox and dash working welll, why don't you try a small game backup on media you used to burn evox onto harddrive with?

Also, maybe the method you are using to burn the backups as well.

If samsung drive, you can even use cd-r's on it.  It's one of the better drives you can get in a xbox for compatibility with media tongue.gif
