Hey man i got your email.. and this goes for everyone else that sent me an email-msn txt..... im sorry iv put u alll off the last couple of days iv been really fregging busy... ANYWAY...
yeah man.. i had the same problem.. the only other bios i got to work was the evox m8

try that if that works then ur bios are currept and or/ dont work with the xchip..

so im running cromwell. then i press Y to load the m8 bios.

Hey Pine, thanks for responding.
Yeah I don't know what the deal is. Like I said I installed the Evox 1.0 bios by "Load Raw" and IT works fine. Thing is I can't have alternate BIOSes on the chip, just the one.

Are you selecting the new loaded alternative bios as BOOT and writing changes in X-Control.

Not sure what your problem might be, but i suggest you try the EvoX X-Chip BIOS ver 1.1.
Then you should be able to flash etc directly from X-Chip Setup menu.

Who has been able to install M7 or M8 on your X-Chip or only the 1.0/1.1 BIOS?

The only way I've been able to flash the bios is by "Load RAW". I can't do that with M7 or M8, plus it seems like these are smaller than 4 megs. (1.0/1.1)
