Sounds like D0 loose or solderless misalligned now.  This can happen from removing chip is the screw for solderless was not snug.

You answered yourself. delicatly soldered.   Need to remove D0 and scrap with exactl knife then re-add solder then attach D0 again.

Ok I just went over it again, cleaned out the hole, soldered it, I can tug on it and its not budging, but it still frags.  Loaded cromwell...frags, loaded full.bin...frags.  Could I have burned it up or something?  Cause it worked yesterday, and I wanted to see if I could change that eject button boot in the xcontrol, cause when I hit eject it kept trying to boot the default bios in full.bin.  Ever since it has been fragging.  I dunno I give up.

Edit: Does it boot without the MOD chip?

If the xbox is fragging then the D0 point is good and one of the conections on the LPC port would be bad if D0 was not connected it would just boot the MS bios.  But your chip MIGHT be bad, just from experience my first X-chip was faulty booted fine the first time and then never again.  RMA'd it and never had a problem since with the new chip.
