What Is Going On?

Try flashing it with X-control software, maybe the bios on it is corrupt or there isn't one on there at all. THen if that doesn't work something wrong with the installation. Check all yor solder points again.

I have flashed it with a 1.6 bios.  How can I tell if it is corrupt or not?

Thanks for your responses.

Did you load raw and write changes?

Clean D0 very will, scrap laquar off it.  Your symptoms are same as if i remove D0 wire.

Many issues can result in laquar.  Mainly manufacturing issues.

But in all cases to be positive solder is makinga good connection need to verify points are clean, no matter what it doesn't hurt to scrap them lightly.

I've seen a few 1.2, no scrapping need then another 1.2 that required.  If you look at teh motherboard you will sometimes see hole( solder point ) covered with laquar.  Sometimes slight heat from soldering iron will remove and cause a connection, other times soldering iron melts laquar and wire attaches and joins laqur looking like and feeling like its secure.

maltheo: Huge difference.  Load raw just opens the image in X-Control console. Performing a X-Chip -> Write Changes writes the image( file ) to the X-Chip, without wriet changes nothing gets written to xchip!

Note for Evox 1.0 Files: If using a 1.0 - 1.5 XBOX write the full.bin image, if using a  1.6 xbox write the full15.bin image prior to powering xbox!
