Features? 1.6 Support? Sram?
« Reply #15 on: June 07, 2004, 05:17:00 PM »

I'm GUESSING that there would need to be some heavy BIOS modification in order to utilize 2MB SRAM onchip for system purposes, much more than delimiting the XBE or BIOS to take advantage of 128MB.  This would be something that the X-Chip (and its OS) could not do, from what I know.

So *throws hands in the air* I'd like more info, too.

Well... if the USB can do debugging and stuff... there is definatly something done.
Then it must be possible with the X-chip and OS.

And they wouldnt have done the SRAM, if it wasnt possible to use it for the intended purpose.

say it was for trainers and other memory resident stuff... why do you NOT want it for that ?

What would YOU want the memory to be used for ?

So it's coming out.  Does it support the 1.6?  Your website says it supports all versions of XBOX using the solderless adapter but that can't be true, because the 1.6 needs the LPC port rewired, but anyway will the chip itself work on the 1.6 upon release?

Also, how about getting the features updated on the xbox-scene modchip feature table: http://www.xbox-scen...hips4_table.htm
