How Do You Successfully Flash The Bios?

I am installing this chip in a friends XBOX.  XBOX v1.4. Pogo Pin Install

I have downloaded the flashing software, and I am able to connect to the chip with no problems.

I need to know what setting it needs to be set to, to flash it.

Then what setting it needs to be set to, to install.

I will be using the X2 4981 bios (256k) and X2 4978 (512k). I would like to be able to boot from the X2 4981 bios.

DMS are the worst people about help!

but just follow the tutorials on how to flash, making sure to disconnect ect.

ive had good luck with bank 5 but had to format all banks then write the 256k bios file.
