Hey, I am trying to flash my X-B.I.T. v1.5 modchip using the software that comes with it. When i try and connect to the modchip through USB it give an error message "Error Reading CMD_GET_STATUS reply." If anyone knows any solution to this problem please reply. Thanks.

Alright, I found the answer to my problem. I see that there are many people having problems flashing xbit v1.5 using windows xp. If your are, and you are running usb2.0 make sure that the only thing plugged into your usb ports is the xbit. Also make sure you are running the xbit xp software.

I've had the same error, fixed it with the VB 6 Runtime Modules. Now everything works fine...
