No New Dashboard Is Needed To Play Xbox Backups.
« on: August 03, 2004, 10:43:00 AM »

Firstly, are you still using the stock HD? If you are then you will only be able to backup one game, maybe two if you have a seagate with the ~2 GB of hidden space. If you seriouly want to backup some games you're gonna need a bigger HD. Secondly, yes, you will need a replacement dash to play backups. The easiest way to backup a game is to use Evox or UnleashX and just click on "Copy Game to HD" or similar sounding option... I don't know EXACTLY what it says off the top of my head. Bottom line: get a bigger HD and replacement dash.

Hi

So you mean you cant install a new Dashboard, right?
The chip is for sure not faulty as long as the flashing process was a success.

Have you tried to boot a backup game?

Also be sure that the dip switches are in the right place.
