will i hurt my chip if i erase and reflash it with a diff. bios....

what i am asking can this mess up the chip, if i erase format etc..then put a new bios....in the same bank the old was in....

oh yeah it is an XBIT

nope it wont hurt the chip, thats why it has that facility besides if it goes wrong you can just reflash it or whats better is if you flash to a different bank
