Replacing Front Led's
« on: November 05, 2003, 02:16:00 PM »

i read this tutorial here and i have one question..

does it matter what Voltage and mA the LED's are.  I just got some 3.5v 5000mcd leds, but im not 100% what the mA rating is(probably 20ma), and i want to make sure that they will work before i start cutting and soldering.

thanks, sorry for the noob q./

dude if they are 3mm see through looking leds that only show up their colour when there is electricity going thru (super bright leds). Then they should be fine.

how do you know this? there are tonnes of clear leds that are rated at different voltages and mamps.

thanks for your help, i guess the only way to see if this is goign to work is to do it and see... which i kinda didnt want to do - ohh well.
