Xbit, M7, And V1.5 Problem
« on: November 04, 2003, 11:26:00 PM »

I have my XBox booting fine into EvoX (3285) using M7 bios and I can even play a game that I have saved on the HD, but when I try to switch to the MSDashboard from EvoX, it gives me the message saying my Xbox needs to be serviced. If I try to play a original game on DVD, it says it can't read the disk, but if I disable XBIT, the game works fine. Any ideas? Help!

make sure you have the msdash correctly specified in the bios (xbtools) or try one of the xbox tools - i'd say you have to lock your HD but you said it booted fine with the xbit disabled.  i did a slayer's install which did everything for me - you may want to consider that.
