Did you screw it down very tight?  See if there are any visible signs of scratching or cracking on the motherboard around the LPC port.

The box now has 120HD, i remove and put xbox original HD and still same thing, without the chip just regular boot and does the whole thing with reset and power light flashing. THE XBIT is junk, I should have stuck with my chameleon it worked fine......guess there is no fixing this ?

you are idiots, that's what the problem is.
pogo pins can short out shit when not aligned right. shorting out shit kills xboxes. has happened with matrix, chameleon, x2+. everyone keeps saying don't use pogo pin shit.. yet people keep doing it to save 10 bucks on installing.

check the entire area with a magnifying glass for damage, especially the d0 point. if it doesn't help, swallow it down and get a chip installed properly next time.

if they are scratched is there way to fix them, i looked and see nothing, not knocking the xbit but this happen after the install so must be something related to the chip....

the traces can usually be bridged with the proper equipment. another possibility I can think of is that the d0 via was crushed and no longer has contact to both sides of the PCB.

just spend some time re-aligning. my matrix did the same thing with the on 3 times and error shit, even though it flashed green and said it was ok. jiggle it around and try bringing it to all the corners of the barely green until you find the side that doesnt bridge and works best. its not xbit its any pogo chip. pogos are like knives, they work fine till putses get their hands on it.
