Solder The Matrix ?

Why would you want to solder it?  Isn't it a solderless modchip?

Solder The Matrix ?

^^great answer...maybe because he wants to have a chip that doesnt shift and come misaligned all the time

I'd just solder wires onto the points on the matrix then solder them onto the corresponding points on the motherboard. Then mount the matrix somewhere not touch the motherboard

Well in that case yeah that's what i would do too.  You could solder the points on the LPC portion of the chip to the LPC on the mobo.

But don't be afraid to screw it in tight.  i just used a lockwasher underneath my chip and screwed it in as tight as possible so it wont move.  i even shook it a few times and flicked it and it didnt move.
