What's the latest and greatest bios for the matrix chip.  I currentlly have evox d6 is there anything better than that?

Yes, there are new bios's about, like x2 and newer evox bios's, as long as its 256k you can put any on the chip.

Hi,
    I brought my xbox 2nd hand and it was running an older version of EvoX. When i turn on my Xbox i get that Xbox logo and underneath it says MATRIX INSIDE. But since I donwloaded and installed Slayers 2.6. It doesn't say that no more. I just get MS. The EvoX dash still loads up and i can play games but i just want to know how come that changed.

Becuase it says MATRIX INSIDE, does this mean that i have a MARTIX Chip? Or can somebody just change it. (The person that owned this before me didn't know anything about hes Xbox)

When i go to XBOX BIOS CHECKER 4.0B this is what i get

CHIP TYPE = MODCHIP (or unknown HomeBrew)
USING GENUWINE BIOS = EvoX 2.2.

Is this the lastest BIOS? If not can you tell me where i can get it.

Also is there different versions of the MATRIX chip? If so, how can i tell what version mine is.

With the Slayers 2.6 installed, when i go to System Management --> Manage HDD Games with PxHDDLoader it locks up. It also locks up when i go to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System Emulator and some stuff aswell such as XBOX FTP CLIENT AND XBOX FILE EXPLORER.

I have a 120gb in the Xbox aswell if that matters.
Can someone help me with my issues.
