Ok you might have it locked but you might need to reinstall the ms dash board.

Was there an error number like 13 or 16

After I disable the modchip by choosing the appropriate option in Evox, do I just have to turn the Xbox off then back on again to reenable it?  Is this also how it works if I choose to boot off a bios in bank 2, then if I turn the Xbox off and back on will it boot back to my default bios in bank 0, or will it keep booting to 2?  Thanks

yeah, just restart.  if the chip is set to mode 1, it will boot from the 1st bank (bank0).

Ok just get slayers auto installer 2.6 and install the ms dash from that.

Then when you connect to live it will upgrade to the dash you need.

Please remember that you need to disable the chameleon first to upgrade the ms dash.

To upgrade the dash one you get the ms dashinstalled choose live from the menu options.

lets hope that works, i have slayers 2.5 and did theat and it didnt work, but i found the ms dash and dled it off of some good xbox site so i can just replace the files with that and reflash the bios.

When it loads up ms dahs your in ike flin on xbox live.

Now if you tried to connect to live with your mo chip on already then your banned but I am here to tell you if you tell the chip to reboot and you load up ms dash after reboot your all set.

ok so what you said was the command resets the chip to ms shasg whitch i believe it did, it isnt flashing so i believe its off. Thank you very much

ok so let me see if i understand this correctly:

1.  ftp and add the command line to the main menu on slayers
2.  Choose that command and then go onto xbox live without turning off the xbox.
3.  when i turn off the xbox, the chip will turn back on and run like it normally does.

is this right?  also, i've never ftp'd before.  can you recommend a good thread or guide to help me with this?
