well...I used an older version of Evox, but that did not help. This is what I get for experimenting with BIOSes. Guess I am DOOMED to have a chipped XBOX, which sux, becuase mod-chips are for suckers. I hope MS dont make is so you can't flash the chip in the next XBOX!

You can also file down larger tips. That's how I do my radioshack irons and they work excellent.

OK, so I got the Matrix back from my friend. I loaded Evox_Matrix_tsop on it, but it would NOT boot to the Evox dash. It just cycled through the colors. I guess if you put X3 on your TSOP, the only way to recover is a 29 wire, but I can't be sure.

Has anyone repaired a TSOP that has been flashed with the X3 BIOS? If so , how?

Well you missed to mention if they frag with the mod chip installed or not.

So does the xbox have to boot off of the tsop for this to work?

?I have a 1.1 box that my friend flashed the 4034 bios onto.....Will i be able to fix it with this method?

No problem.

Your xbox has to be able to boot off the chameleon mode chip for this to work.
