..or do i just cut the trace and solder from that D0 spot to the D0 pad on the chameleon?

Yeah having issues w/that .

I don't know if

1) I didn't cut the trace completely
-or-
2) I'm not grounding it sufficiently.  I just soldered the D0 wire to one of the screw pad things.

You have to remove pin 7's pogo or use a black magic marker and cover pin 7.  I guess I assumed you knew that sorry.  Becuase once the pin 7 is grounded both bioses would be disabled.  You would frag.
