Yea it means that you have to have a mod(matrix, ect.) installed otherwise you could not get it to read the burnt disc is all.  The ms bios is will not read unsigned code.

Ok

What bios did you program on it.
Did you get a programer for it.
I don't know if you can use an MA exploit in order to flash the bios but you can try.

Mechassault exploit save game exploit.

If you did not get the d0 soldered correctly or if you put the d0 in the wrong location that might frag it also if not then...

Are you lineing it up by looking under the matrix chip and insureing the pogo pins are hitting the lpc corectly.  Also I am guessing one of your pogo pins are not makeing good contact.  Most of the time it is the pin 7.  Try and look at the motherboard and see if the solder is pitted or something.  If it does not make a good contact then it will FRAG since there is no bios being loaded.   What I did to correct it once when I had a problem with a 1.1 was to re do all of the solder on the lpc.  If you have a solder sucker I would suggest that.  If not then you might want to remove the motherboard and place the matrix on the motherboad and do a connection test on the bottom of the lpc.

Another thing did you use the supplied lockwasher so it will ground to the motherboard via the screw.  If not solder a ground wire or attach a ground wire to the screw area.

Only if you got the wrong point.  You have to have the correct spot in order for it to work.  If you short out the srong pin then the xbox will not boot.

Removed that post....  You stated it was a bad pogo pin.

Ok.

Now you will need to install evox.

Two options to choose from.

First you can download a evox.iso from #xbins and ftp evox over and rename the evox xbe to evoxdahs.xbe and then the xbox iwll read that before msdahs.xbe or you can get slayer auto installer and install evox that way.

Another option if you can not get your cd-rw's to read however is to (this depends on what games you have and if you have a way of getting the saved game files onto a memory chip) get a save game exploit from #xbins and install that on to the auction replay memory chip and then use that game to ftp to your c drive the evox stuff.

Games witgh save exploits are as follows.

Mechassault
007 Agent under Fire or AUF
Splinter Cell
