Dvd Movies Not Playing Any More

Apparently some people using Avalaunch as their dash have had a loop problem as well.
Is this your problem?
Try turning off the chip, as it worked in those cases.

Currently unless you have write protect on.

Perhaps I'm posting to the wrong forum. I think I have a chameleon but it is a pogo chip with 4 dips.

You're in the correct forum, that's the same I have, the solderless Chameleon. Please tell me which dash you are using as if will help me assist you better.

Ok did you still try the other things like start m$ dash with no dvd in the drive and what happened.  I still think it could be with your msdash like it got renamed, removed, correpted,  or the evox.ini is missing or wrong settings in the [Misc] for the options MSDashBoard and DVDPlayer.

Just tring to run msdash with no dvd in will tell us.  smile.gif

Well, you're right hehehe, the chip itself doesn't have pogo pins, it has a connector for the solderless adapter.

Soma, please tell us if you tried the suggestions Exzir and I have told you and if any of them work.

No you do not have to reload evox the ms dash is what is screwed up.  

Get Slayers Autoinstaller and reintsall MS Dashboard

I can't seem to get onto efnet using MIrc anymore from my ip address. Is there a http interface for xbins? PM's and emails accepted. I use comcast as my ISP.

Well you have to use random efnet.  The efnet servers are always full.  If you use random and keep tring I am sure you will get on.  Also if you have a router and your computer is not a routable ip address that will stop you from getting on.  and that would be a no for a http access to get the files you might if your lucky get it off of winmx from an xbox chat room.  www.winmx.com for that program but again very slim pickin on the winmx but you would have to set your pc as dmg for efnet irc to work.
