use software control add the lines to the ini file and disable the modchip by switching to tsop

If you can't solder then stay away from those points the are very small & easily damaged.

Since you have the solderless adapter I would recomend sniping the D0 pin (the one connected to that little bit of wire sticking out of the adapter)

Buy a toggle switch (http://www.maplin.co...ages/2340i0.jpg) just like the one on the left.

solder a piece of wire from one side of the switch to the pin that you sniped & another piece of wire from the other side of the switch to the D0 point on your cham chip.

flip the switch one way & the chip is disabled flip it the other way & it's enabled.

there are lots of ways you can mount your switch on your xbox I'll let you decide which way to choose.

Hey here is what I do.  I flashed my xbox to not load the game by default.

I then added these lines to run my games.
Oh yea I removed the xbox dash setting and changed it to this also

MSDashBoard   = "d:\default.xbe"

And here is how I launch games

Section "Root"
{
   Line "**********************************"
   Line "Choos a way to Launch a Game"
   Item ">>Non Xbox Live enabled Game<<",ID_MS_Dash
   Line "or Insert Live Enabled Game and..."

   Line "**********************************"

You can word it how ever you want to but this should and does work really good.
