Cham 1.5 And Xbox 1.4-1.5

Hello, I usually only work with Xecuter and Gen 4 Chips, This is the first time ive gotten a Cham and a 1.4-1.5 box, Will a cham 1.5 work in a 1.4-1.5 Box?  On the comparison chart it only has 1.0 as no, 1.3 as possible, and 1.8 as yes.

Also, i noticed for switching the chip on and off it uses the Eject/Power button combos. I am wondering if the combo that turns it off is still Xbox Live safe. Eg, with it turned iff you wont get banned.
