I havn't posted to the scene in quite a while cause until tonight my xbox has been running flawlessly.

Well I was watching a movie on XBMP and when it was done I went back to the main menu and hit the "load dashboard" little button at the bottom. When I did that the screen when black and thats it.

So I turned off the box and back on. When I turned it on, it runs for a second then powers off. I turn it on again and it flashes red/green (is that a frag?).

Now heres the kicker..If I disable the modchip (external switches) then it boots msdash just fine and I can play any original game I have.

My matrix is on the pogo's except the d0 which is soldered.

Any information on where I should start troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

yea the d0 came off!! Thats the problem!

I had similar problems like this before. I just reheated up my points on mine and it worked just fine. Before I did this my blue light was not blinking and if it did blink it was very dim.

ps. I am using quick solder method

The matix led is green.

I will try to reseat it next time i get aroudn to opening the box lol

I am having this exact same problem! I had the Xbox up and running, everything was working great, and then it stopped being good. If I turn the chip off, MS dash boots, if I turn it on, it powers up, shuts off, does this twice, and then it stays on while blinking and projects nothing, any ideas? I have a soldersless X 2.3b chip
