Xboxdash.xbe isn't the only required file for the MS Dash to run with mod disabled.  Depending on Xbox version, live dash, etc. etc., you'll need certain fonts, xboxlive data, etc. or you'll get an error 13.

Best bet is to re-copy ALL the contents of your original C: drive to your current drive.  If you don't have a backup available, Slayer's auto-installer has an option to rebuild just the MS Dash files.

This should take care of it.
