i was recently offered the oportunity to trade xboxs with a friend of mine because he is getting rid of his xbox. the reason i was offered the trade because the newer xboxs dont have the loud fan like the v1.0 xboxs have....the one i have. so i agreed and decided to take out my chameleon chip, and put it in the newer xbox, but then i did some research to see if the newer xboxs will work with my chameleon and it turns out there is 3 different versions of the chameleon chip! now i have no idea which version mine is, i installed it a while back and i dont remember what version it is. my friend says that it is most likely a version 1.4 xbox. and from what i read the v1.0 chameleons wont work on version 1.3 xboxs and up. is there anyway to find out what chameleon chip version i have before i go back and open my xbox again
