Does Matrix Work With New Xboxes?

The matrix was made for v1.0 and 1.1 motherboards to be solderless. (D0 point)

I'm sure you can use it in the newer xbox (v1.2-1.4) but you would have to do some soldering.

Hey guys -

I have a couple older Matrix Mod's and a couple newer xbox's and I do know that the D0 site moved but does anyone have the board points to soldier the older matrix mod pins to so it will work with the newer xbox's?

I have a 1.3 Mobo that I am fixing, and a spare Matrix. Since I didn't want to rip my Xenium out of my newest machine, I filled the LPC holes with solder and then connected a wire for the D0 point. I also placed electrical tape under the Matrix's D0 pin.

Filling the LPC is quite easy, heat a hole with the tip of your iron, then touch a little solder to it. Then you should be good to go.

On the 1.4 box's I understand that the D0 site isnt the only thing that has changed.... you also need something other than that and on the 1.5 box's the ground and 3.3 volt isnt connected to the LPC holes and you need to re-route those connections as well.  I have a 1.4 box and have done everything but that second "other" pin.
