Chameleon D0 Wire Won't Stay Put

I'm trying to install the D0 chip, but I'm having a problem trying to get the wire to stay in place.  I'm having trouble getting the D0 wire to stay in the solderless adapter and the D0 spot on the motherboard.  It keeps coming lose.  Is it ok to put tape in that area, should I try to find a new wire, or what else should I do?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Take the solderless adaptor off the board, bend the D0 wire until the end point is well below the bottom of the solderless adaptor. now when you fit the solderless there will be spring pressure on the wire and d0 point helping it to stay in pplace
