The way things are going, it looks like your best bet is to have a seperate box for live. but you can find the info you seek in the xblive forum

If you want an easy external swith, the chameleon is set up to use the power and eject button.  You just have to solder wires to the correct points on your board then the eject button will work as an on/off switch for your chip.
