The first thing is to get your box working and you can do the ftp and rename the file name again. So, take out the boot disc you created first time, when you modded your xbox. put it into DVD-rom and power up the box(assumed your chip and bios still working). Then, you can have your evox dashboard or whatever the dashboard you choose first time that you can communicate with your xbox. Once you can communicate with your xbox, then try to undo what you did the file name. From what you described, it seems to me you did not flash your bios at all. What I do not understand is that you don't have to rename xboxdash.xbe to get backto MS dashboard in evox (assumed your evox.ini is OK). Hope this will help. Good luck.
