How do i a trace on my matrix. The trace that goes right across the top of the SST chip it burnt out. What do i need to do to fix it. Will i need to solder, if so what kinda solder do i need?

you need to bridge the trace with a wire, which you need to solder. that'll work UNLESS the chip itself was fried too.. in which case it's time to get a better chip.
