I've had some fairly long d0 wires for customers who insisted on a switch being fitted, not had a problem so far and the combined length must be near on a foot

whats the "HDD checking scare"? did I miss something ?

Xbox live can now check your hard drive's size, serial number, etc.
no bans have resulted, though.  i'm doing an external drive solution as an overly paranoid precautionary measure.
