i isntalled my chameleon via the solderless adapter and my xbox powers up and everything but it goes to the original dashboard instead of the bios screen, and also when i boot up the "X" and MS are white instead of green...can anyone help...?

Sounds like it is already flashed with a bios, hence the diff colored X.
If thats the case, then yes it is going to go to the m$ dash if you havnt installed
another dash.

but isn't there supposed to be a flashing light at the bottom...? mines doesn't...do i need to do solder that additional wire or something for the v1.5 fix? and what is that fix for? i thought the chameleon was compatible by itself with all versions...
