Assuming the chip is actually programmed with the cromwell then yes you should get a flashing LED but it is very hit and miss and just because you dont have the led that is no guarantee that the chip isnt working.

Basically rebuild the machine and then reboot - wait at least 2 MINUTES before doing anything as the 2.27 cromwell has a delay built in


After this time has elapsed your tray should open

Pop in the disc you prepared earlier with the linuxbio.bin file and wait for the machine to turn off. Reboot and bobs yer uncle
