its not the chip - it depends on the bios - just get the highest bios out - 4981 and flash that to your chip - it will support hds >137 gb.

With an LBA48 enabled BIOS, you can use up to ~250GB w/o problems.

There will be corruption problems beyond ~274GB I think. This is a problem with FATx, not the BIOS. I'm not 100% sure of whether this affects an F/G setup or just a big F setup.
