now, i`ve updated dash to 3935 but when i tried to flash bios with 4981.06(256kb). I ftp bin fil to a folder called bios, clicked on "flash bios" pressed y button
then it`s supposed to erase bios on chip right, but it would`t start erasing. the old bios still work and box work fine. open up xbox to correct the switch, there are 2 switches- 1 set to off, 2 set on, how should i set them to flash?? and what does that "N" on to topp of switch2 means??
any help would be great
i`m just familiar with x2.3+..

Set both switches to ON and that will enable it to be flashed through EvoX.
That's assuming you already have some kind of bios loaded and just want to upgrade. Which is what it looks like.
It's very simple.

If you are having problems updating through EvoX, you can get a programmer like someone suggested above.
You can get one on from someone on here in the buy/sell section for around $10 or so.
You just have to remove the chip and program it through the programmer though.
