Im not exactly answering your question but, I had an adaptor with a pin that got stuck in when it would be pushed in too far. If you take a needle and gently tap it and move it around you can probably manage to make it spring out again. If you manage to get both out, just be very careful next time you install it to make sure it doesnt get stuck (dont tighten too much.) I installed my adaptor with the lousy pin and its been working just fine. (4 months now)
