The front xbox light flashes 1-4-4 then red green on the last reboot. Each time the xbox reboots the chameleon flashes red for a split second.

bad flash

you bios is corupted or your chameleon is unflashed

EDIT: be sure all dipswitch are set to OFF

Thanks. It looks like im going to have to desoldier the thing just to reflash it though!!! I thought I flashed cromwell in the second bank but I bet it didnt work either.


I was pretty sure that there was a problem when I was flashing it. I used the matrix programmer to flash it. It worked and said that it verified the flash but when I did a read on the chip it showed that it hadnt been flashed??

I have the same problem with the 2 boots and fragging.  My flickers red as well.  I flashed with programmer the Evox M7 , Xecuter , and the latest cromwell.  All get the same result.  I also tried to realine and put in a different xbox.  Same results.  If anybody has any suggestions it would be appreciated.
