I have followed the same instructions for the x 1.5 and I can not get the blue led to flash.
I have tested all my connections (lpc, do and pin2 ground) with a multimeter, so I know that these are fine.
I  don't not what else to do.

Does this mean that my chameleon is shit?
Please give me insight someone!

be sure all dipswitch are set to off.
if the xbox boot without any problem but don't see the cromwell bios, the d0 isn't correct.
if the xbox frag, then it's mostly a bad lpc contact (if it's a v1.5, then look for the pin2 solder too)
if the xbox reboot 3 time and frag, then you have a bad flash or an hardware damage

VRIC, my xbox reboots 3x then frags.  I have tried flashing with cromwell and evox.d.6.blue and it doesn't work.
Should I try a different one or does this mean that my chip does not work?

you tryed with a programer ?

if so, then your LPC point might have damage.. try to remove the chip and see if the xbox is booting.. if so, the the problem is on the LPC OR the chip is dead OR bios didn't flashed at all.

btw use Evox M7, since it's the only evox bios to work with v1.4/1.5 xbox. or try X2 4980/4981

Vric, you are awesome! I flashed the chip with X2 4890/4891 and it finally works.
After 5 days of hard work it finally appears as if I can finally enjoy my newly modified xbox.

enjoy it then  biggrin.gif

have fun
