Do you have a Thomson Driver ? if so, CD-RW don't work on it.

as for the LED, it's controled by the Cromwell Bios, once flashed, it won't flash anymore. But the led can be controled with EvoX Dashboard with editing ini.

if you have the Xecutor2 tag, then the modchip is working, you need to install software and dashboard now (try Slayer 2.5 CD)

The only thing that worked for me on my 1.0 was to load slayers. I only used it so I could ftp in and put the dashboard I actually wanted on (the newest evox.) So to me slayers was simply an ftp on disc.

I burned it with these setting: UDMA4, Alcohol 120, 2x on a Sony CD-RW

Thomeson Drive don't like CD-R/RW media

some ppl here are lucky, but most of thomson drive don't read any CD-R/RW. you will need to try DVD-R/RW or use a programer (or try many brand of CD-RW to find one that actually work)

Hey guys, I have Xbox V1.0 and a thompson as well. On the M$ dash, i could copy music using memorex CDRWs. So does that mean i can flash my chip and load EvoX using same type of CDs? Thanx

Thanks to all of you who helped me through this!  You've all help me save my xbox from a watery grave!!  120 worked awesome, and so did using memorex media.  Now if I can upgrade to this Maxtor 40GB, I'm all set.  Thanks again, and Happy New Year!
