take the pogo pins out and clean the lpc pad. also clean the D0 hole.

Yeah, that's a good guess. The solderless chameleon connection is a bit flaky - it's only anchored in one point. Make sure you screw it down tight (but not too tight!) and center it well.

My chameleon works excellent and I think that your connections are not completely clean.
Cause I have never had that problem, I also like that adaptor so good I adapted to a x2.3 lite check my tutorial in my signature

When you guys take your xbox somewhere does the chip often unalign?  It seems that it does this regularly for me and should be something expected... or is it just not properly aligned that it does this?
