Help Mode 1 Prob.

Mode 1 is all dips off.  Your Chameleon was not flashed in Mode 4. Therefore it wants to be in Mode 1.

will this "mode 4" cure my problem on my chip that has a bad flash ,im a newb and im searching around the forums and i've picked up some things .By the way my eject button flashes it sounds like my chamelon is defraged and the only way i can get it back is to set the dip switchs to mode 4 and try to reflash again using linuxbio.bin and a dummy 50mb file and after the flash go back to mode 1, will this cure my problem .I dont want to feck up my  chip anymore i waited over a month to get it and it was just stupidity in the first place that i hit the reflash option on the evox dashboard please help people Im pulling my hair out.
