First of all...if you DO have a 1.5 box, and you installed a solderless Chameleon...NOTHING should happen at all!

Not unless you solder the additional ground....

Something is definately wrong with your XBox.  Drop me a PM with the details of what you did!

I'm getting the same results right now... 3 flashing green lights and then red. I hear I need to get a BIOS installed with the programmer first... is that right? How do I tell which version my XBOX is? Are there any tutorials on the ground that may have to be soldered?

Thanks!

If you are getting the 3 reboots, you either don't have your d0 aligned correctly or you dont' have a good BIOS flash.

Try reseating the d0.  Are you sure that you flashed the BIOS correctly?

I don't think I have anything flashed on the BIOS... I just got it from EB2000. I have the programmer so I can manually install a BIOS...

Which BIOS should I Install?? D0 looks pretty nice and I have done no soldering. How do I tell my XBOX version??

Thanks!

wink.gif ) install the chip there and flash it.  Then remove the chip and reinstall it into your 1.5 box just like them manual says (no soldering required) and it should work.  You can also use a programmer, but that being and extra 20 out of your pocket, it would probably be cheaper just to find a 1.3 or lower box.  These methods worked for me (I didnt try the programmer becuase i flashed my friends chip on my 1.0 box).  Good Luck!!!

If you have a 1.5 you HAVE to solder the ground wire from the Chameleon to the screw-hole metal.  After that you CAN flash via CDRW.

Is that correct?

If I flash the chameleon via the programmer and istall (pin header or solderless adapter) the chip into a 1.5 Box then it should work without the additional ground?
